Flowers! Cookies!

A chilly winter evening but the Capitol Hill Club provided a warm welcoming dinner on January 19, 2018, for 54 wounded/injured/ill service members, their families and guests. We were delighted to have our dear friends, CW & Marny join the group for the evening.

The room was aglow with beautiful floral arrangements provided and designed by the volunteers from “Freedom Petals.” There were floral arrangements, potted plants and “money trees” to take back to the hospital.

We wish to thank the Capitol Hill Club members, the staff, Chef and everyone who made this a wonderful evening. Special thanks for the bags of cookies for the bus ride back to Walter Reed.
