Our "Little Guests..."

Happy Birthday to Andrew and Mary!!!!

Our dear friend, Marcus Flagg (US Naval Academy graduate and a former Navy F-14 Tomcat fighter pilot) joined the group for dinner and he spent a few minutes to thank the injured service members for their service and sacrifices. Marcus’ parents (Ret. Navy Rear Admiral Wilson Flagg and Mom, Dee) were on the American Flight 77 that crashed into the Pentagon on September 11, 2001.

13,000 GOODIE BAGS!!! In 2004, Norine Fuller (An Executive with Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising) learned of the Aleethia Foundation’s “Friday Night Dinners” for the injured service members recovering at Walter Reed Army Medical Center and the National Naval Medical Center. She decided to deliver “goodie bags” to the weekly dinners to show her gratitude and appreciation for their service. This wonderful gesture has continued for over nine years. On most Friday nights, there are 30 or more gift bags waiting for our service members. A simple gesture of gratitude from a wonderful lady has touched thousands of hearts!
