The Aleethia Foundation wishes to thank Mike Doherty and staff members for hosting the September 14th “Friday Night Dinner” for 90 wounded/injured/ill service members, their families and guests at the Washington Golf & Country Club.
The Executive Chef prepared a delicious five-course dinner which ended with an ice cream sundae bar and an array of desserts!!!
There were 12 lucky “door prize” winners and goodie bags for the service members…all compliments of our dear friend, Norine Fuller.
We got to celebrate three birthdays!!!

19,000 GOODIE BAGS!!! In 2004, Norine Fuller (Executive Director of Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising – Washington DC) learned of the Aleethia Foundation’s “Friday Night Dinners” for the wounded/injured/ill service members recovering at the Walter Reed Army Medical Center and the National Naval Medical Center. She decided to deliver “goodie bags” to the weekly dinners to show her gratitude and appreciation for their service. This wonderful gesture has continued for over 14 years. On most Friday nights, there are 30 or more gift bags waiting for our service members. Also, on several “Friday Night Dinners,” Norine will surprise us with dozens of door prizes for the service members. A simple gesture of gratitude from a wonderful and beautiful lady has touched thousands of hearts!
