A Beautiful Fall Evening!

The Aleethia Foundation wishes to thank the Lido Civic Club of Washington DC & Knights of Columbus Rock Creek Council #2797 for co-hosting the September 16, 2016 “Friday Night Dinner” at Rock Creek Mansion. Lido Club members engaged in conversation and fellowship with each and every service member throughout the evening.

Over 98 wounded/injured/ill service members, family members and guests enjoyed a delicious BBQ meal cooked on the Knights’ Smoker cookers.

The 20 children attending enjoyed a wonderful evening playing outside.

The volunteers of “Freedom Petals” filled the room with beautiful floral arrangements which generated happiness and a relaxed environment.

We celebrated three birthdays…

Jim’s Marine Buddy, Dan accepted Jim’s cake which was delivered to him on Saturday!

Thanks again to Jerry Truman, the Lido Civic Club of DC and the Knights of Columbus Rock Creek Council members for making this dinner a wonderful and fun time for all!
