A Beautiful Autumn Evening!
The Aleethia Foundation wishes to thank Mike Doherty and the “FPM” team members for hosting the October 4th “Friday Night Dinner” for 67 wounded/injured/ill service members, their families, caregivers and guests at the Washington Golf & Country Club. For the past seven years, Mike has generously hosted a “Friday Night Dinner” for the troops.
At this week’s dinner, we had several new patients who enjoyed getting out of the hospital, meeting some fellow service members and starting new friendships.
Special thanks to our dear friend, Norine Fuller who provided door prizes and excitement for the lucky winners. We were honored to have two motor officers from Arlington County join the group and assisted with the door prizes.
Also, “goodie bags,” compliments of Norine, were distributed to the service members and the extra bags were taken back to the hospital to share with others.
No one left hungry…Everyone enjoyed an awesome five-course dinner prepared by Executive Chef Ed Moore which ended with an ice cream sundae bar and an array of amazing desserts!!! We wish to thank the WGCC staff for all their assistance with our many special needs.
THANKS again to Mike and the “FPM” team members whose fellowship was the highlight of the evening!
