50,000 meals served!

The Gary Sinise Foundation hosted Aleethia’s Friday Night dinner on November 20, 2015 at the National Press Club.

Tonight’s dinner marked a historic milestone in the Aleethia Foundation’s legacy … 50,000 meals provided to service members, families and caregivers since the first steak dinner for two soldiers in October 2003.

Over a 100 wounded/injured/ill service members, their families, caregivers and guests enjoyed a wonderful evening of fellowship, delicious food and fun moments.

GSF Ambassador John Woodall spoke about Gary’s personal quest of “giving back to those who sacrifice for our nation and encouraging others to do the same…” As Gary has often said “…while we can never do enough to show our gratitude to our nation’s defenders, we can always do a little more…”

Our friends from Freedom Petals provided special flower centerpieces which recognized our milestone as well as filling the room with smiles as the service members and caregivers were all given flowers to take back.

Our special friend, Jennifer Griffin with Fox News Channel and her two lovely daughters joined us for dinner.

Our “younger guests” are always welcome!

It’s Friday… so we celebrated Mitzyn’s ?? Birthday!

A special thank you is extended to the NPC Chef who provided a plate full of “yummy” cookies with Aleethia’s logo design and more.

The National Press Club management and staff always provide excellent dinners and make everyone feel very welcome.

Finally, we wish to thank our dear friend Gary who has personally been a supporter of Aleethia’s programs and who has attended many dinners since 2003.
