Grazie Mille Tutti!

The Italian Defense Attache, Maj. General Stefano Cont and the Deputy Chief of Mission, Min. Maurizio Greganti enthusiastically hosted a dinner on November 30th for 56 wounded/injured/ill American Service Members and their families along with a delegation of Italian wounded Service Members who were visiting Washington DC. During the evening, the Italian military personnel had the opportunity to spend time with their American colleagues and emphasize the themes of brotherhood, courage and sacrifice in “defending freedom and values at the basis of our democracies.” The camaraderie created a bond that further sealed the excellent friendly relationship between Italy and the USA.
