LET THE CHRISTMAS SEASON BEGIN!

Aleethia’s December 6th Friday Night Dinner was held at the Capitol Hill Club. Over 66 wounded/injured/ill service members, their families and guests enjoyed a wonderful steak dinner.

The Capitol Hill Club was aglow with beautiful Christmas Trees and decorations … which added a festive touch to the evening.

The Annandale Woman’s Club provided ten huge boxes filled with homemade cookies. Since 2005, the Annandale Woman’s Club has baked over 21,000 cookies which are distributed each year at the first “Friday Night Dinner” held in December. Many of our “Elves” helped to take back 100+ bags of cookies to be distributed to service members and their families at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center and the Fisher Houses. There is nothing like a “homemade cookie” made with gratitude and love to put a smile on a service member’s face!

A “special group of ladies” provided handmade earrings, bracelets, necklaces, hand blown glass dishes, hand knitted items, gift cards, mugs, candy and so much more for the service members, caregivers, moms, wives and that “someone special.”
