Let the Holiday Season Begin!!!

Aleethia’s December 7th Friday Night Dinner was held at the Capitol Hill Club. Over 60 wounded/injured/ill service members, their families and guests enjoyed a wonderful steak dinner. The Capitol Hill Club was aglow with beautiful Christmas Trees and decorations …which added a festive touch to the evening.

The Annandale Woman’s Club provided 200 bags filled with homemade cookies. Since 2005, the Annandale Woman’s Club has baked over 20,000 cookies which are distributed each year at the first “Friday Night Dinner” held in December. Many of our “Elves” took back bags of cookies to be distributed to service members and their families at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center. There is nothing like a “homemade cookie” made with gratitude and love to put a smile on a service member’s face!

“FRIENDS OF ALEETHIA” provided handmade earrings and pendants, knitted items, gift cards, mugs, candy and so much more for the service members, caregivers, moms, spouses, children and that “someone special.”

For the Past 15 years, the “Friday Night Dinners” have ended the evening with our toast to the military ….
