Christmas is Coming!!!
Aleethia’s December 9th Friday Night Dinner was held at the Capitol Hill Club which was aglow with beautiful decorated Christmas Trees and more… that added a festive feeling to the evening.
Over 91 wounded/injured/ill service members and their families enjoyed a wonderful four-course steak dinner.
Desserts!!!!!
The volunteers from “Freedom Petals” designed and provided gorgeous “Christmas” theme floral arrangements and mugs of flowers that filled the room with glowing smiles.
Friends of Aleethia provided gift cards, homemade jewelry, glass ornaments, knitted items, electronic items and so much more.
Our dear friend, Norine Fuller provided gift bags filled with an assortment of specially selected gifts and so much more for the service members.
The Annandale Woman’s Club delivered over 160 bags filled with homemade cookies. Since 2005, the Annandale Woman’s Club has baked over 19,000 cookies which are distributed each year at a “Friday Night Dinner” held in December. Special thanks to Debra Lindsay who provided coloring books, toys etc. for the children.
Many of our “Elves” took back bags of cookies, flowers and gift bags to be distributed to the wounded/injured/ill service members and their families living on Base.
