Service, not Self!

We thank the Veterans of Foreign Wars for hosting Aleethia’s “Friday Night Dinner” on December 15th at the National Press Club. VFW National Commander Keith Harman, Executive Director Bob Wallace, Legislative Associate Director Ken Wiseman, Patrick Murray and Director of Public Affairs Joe Davis greeted and met with each wounded/injured/ill service members. Commander Harman spoke about the mission of the VFW to promote veteran’s issues and advocate for better quality of life programs. Commander Harman said that “Every member of our organization has walked the talk … I believe in what the VFW stands for – to take care of veterans, service members and their families.”

Since this was the last “Friday Night Dinner” before Christmas, gifts for the service members, caregivers, children and more were provided and distributed by our friendly “Husky Elf.”
