First Friday Night Dinner of 2012

Aleethia’s FIRST “Friday Night Dinner” for 2012 was graciously hosted by the Darvish family and DARCARS. It was an Italian feast at Carmine’s restaurant…the platters of food kept coming and coming and coming! Several pans of “to go” food was headed back to the nursing stations at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center – Bethesda for “late night” snacks!

Tammy Darvish made the night a special time for all! … from the moments the injured service members and their families got off the buses there were flag balloons waving in the wind, DARCARS' staff cheering the service members and customers of the restaurant joined in … platters of delicious Italian cuisine, gift baskets for all …

Gourmet cupcakes for all and awesome door prizes…

Also, it was "Baby Connor's" first "Friday Night Dinner" … he was born just three weeks earlier on a Friday, of course!
