Clark Construction Group honors the injured service members by hosting the April 8, 2011 "Friday Night Dinner".

April 8, 2011 Dinner was hosted by the Clark Construction Group. Several members of the Clark Group currently working on the Bethesda Naval/Walter Reed project were able to join the injured service members and their families for a fun evening.

Susan Ross (EVP/CAO) thanked the service members for their service and sacrifices. Clark provided some unique door prizes which had the service members hoping to have the “lucky numbers.” The evening ended with “Clark Gift Bags” being distributed to all the injured service members and children. Extra gift bags were taken back to the hospitals for the service members who were unable to attend the dinner.

FUTURE Walter Reed National Military Medical Center

In just a few short months, the doors of the Walter Reed National Military Medical Center at Bethesda will open to provide enhanced world class health care and support for our returning wounded, ill and injured and their families. This historic project brings together best practices from the Military Services, highly experienced and motivated staff, and new and renovated facilities. It is the largest infrastructure investment ever made in the Military Health System. This project also brings the latest in technology and equipment to an integrated system of health care that will enhance both the effectiveness and efficiency of health care in the National Capital Region.

The Clark/Balfour Beatty, A Joint Venture project team has completed major structural work at the future Walter Reed National Military Medical Center (WRNMMC).

WRNMMC will be a combined hospital and flagship medical institution for the United States Army, Air Force, and Navy.
