The Royal Netherlands Embassy hosted Aleethia’s “Friday Night Dinner” on May 6, 2011. Many enjoyed the evening festivities outside until a thunderstorm open the skies!
Entertainment during the reception was provided by the “American Originals Fife and Drum Corps” which was organized by John Bosworth in 1991. In its brief history, the Corps has become one of the most popular and sought after musical organizations in the Drum Corps world.
This unique Fife and Drum Corps offers an extensive repertoire of traditional American song spanning from the Revolutionary War through the Civil War on into the music of the 20th Century.
A delicious Indonesian cuisine buffet was served and enjoyed by all. As a memento of the evening, each service member was presented with an “orange” cap donned with the flags of the Netherlands and the United States of America.
