Happy Birthday Dan!

The sponsors Dan and Michele Creedon were the gracious hosts of Aleethia’s Friday Night Dinner on September 23, 2011 held at the Washington Golf & Country Club.

We had the honor to have Jim Golden join the wounded service members for dinner. Mr. Golden was a 1st Lieutenant in Army Air Corps World War II. Mr. Golden originally flew P-47’s but flew a P-51 Mustang on D-Day when he was shot down and became a POW.

To honor the American comrades in arms, the Royal Canadian Air Force Band ensemble (based out of 17 Wing, Winnipeg) filled the evening with a variety of music from jazz to bag pipes!

The Royal Canadian Air Force Band ensemble and others are joined by one of our Army’s injured service woman (holding guitar).
