Supporting Those Who Serve

The mission of the Aleethia Foundation is to support the wounded/injured/ill service members with short-term therapeutic recreation, small financial grants, family emergency aid, assistive technology items, hyperbaric oxygen therapy, home improvements to assist with an injured service member's mobility and other basic needs. The doctors have determined that it is beneficial for the wounded/injured/ill service members to get out of the hospital environment occasionally. Our mission is to help them get out for meals, movies, sightseeing and visits to interesting sites.

Aleethia Foundation has been providing "Friday Night Dinners" since October 2003. These dinners are an integral part of the healing process. Over 55,000 meals have been provided to wounded/injured/ill service members and their families while recovering at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center - Bethesda.
