Clothing Drive for Veterans!

The Aleethia Foundation wishes to thank the members of the Capitol Hill Club who held a "Suit Drive” on Friday, September 20, 2019. They collected over a thousand items including suits, shirts, ties, slacks and so much more. The professional attire items will all be given to service members that need them for job interviews as they transition out of the military into civilian life.

The event started at 7 AM, Hill staffers and members of Congress stopped by the Capitol Hill Club to drop off gently worn suits, shirts, slacks, ties and so much more. Even curbside drop off was available and volunteers would bring the clothing inside. Many donors came into the club’s “Eisenhower Room” to bring their items of clothing and enjoy a variety of breakfast sandwiches, yogurt, coffee, etc. … and there were grab and go breakfast boxes for those on their way to work.

We greatly appreciate the continuous support from the Capitol Hill Club members over the past 13 years.
